# Glongus Terms of Service

Welcome to Glongus! Glongus is a platform for playing and creating community-made games, avatars, and worlds. By creating an account or using glongus.net, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use Glongus.

## 1. Who can use Glongus

You must be **13 years of age or older** to create a Glongus account. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use the site.

## 2. Your account

- You're responsible for keeping your username and password secure, and for all activity that happens under your account.
- You may not share your account, impersonate another person, or create an account for anyone other than yourself.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

## 3. Your content

- You keep ownership of the games, avatars, and other content you create and upload to Glongus ("User Content").
- By uploading User Content, you grant Glongus a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and allow other users to access and play your User Content on the platform, for as long as it remains on Glongus.
- You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to anything you upload. Don't upload content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
- We may remove content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines, without notice.

## 4. Conduct

You agree not to:

- Harass, threaten, or bully other users.
- Upload malware, cheats, or anything designed to disrupt the service or harm other users.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or to Glongus systems.
- Use Glongus for anything illegal, or to create content that is hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise prohibited by law.

## 5. Bits (virtual currency)

- "Bits" are a virtual currency usable only within Glongus, for things like unlocking marketplace items.
- Bits have **no real-world monetary value**, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are non-refundable and non-transferable between accounts, except where we say otherwise.
- We may adjust, award, or reduce Bits balances to correct errors, fraud, or abuse.

## 6. Downloadable app

Glongus offers a downloadable desktop application to play certain games. Downloading and installing it is optional and is also governed by these Terms.

## 7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Glongus at any time, for violations of these Terms or for any other reason, with or without notice. You may also stop using Glongus and delete your account at any time.

## 8. Disclaimers

Glongus is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Community-made content reflects the views of its creators, not Glongus.

## 9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll try to let you know (for example, through the site). Continuing to use Glongus after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
